In this assignment we got to use assembly constraints. These constraints define the relationship between the geometry of the individual parts.
We basically used the a few tools. such as inserts, mate, flush etc...
we also used degree of freedom.
In this assignment we also used Assembly Constraints.
we also used the regular constraints(mate, flush ect...)
When a key is inserted into a lock and turned, a great many things happen.
same here.
when we play the model. the blue gear shaft will move along
with the green rack.
while thats moving the red peg is moving up and down.

CAD Activity

In this assignment we got to know more about Inventor. It helps us utilize the tools and features on inventor.
our teacher gave us some drills to achieve, this is where some of our drills:

In this sketch we got to learn about a function called "Revolve". this function allows to the sketch to revolve in any degree and axis.

in this sketch we got to learn about a basic function called "Extrude". This function remits the inventor to make a 2D into a 3D!

The next function that we learned was called"Intersect". this function will perform a Boolean addition or subtraction. in this case, subtraction.

In this next exercise, we learn how to drill holes into an object. There are four different types: counterbore, countersink, threaded hole, and clearance hole

the next three are rather the same. the function is called "circular pattern" and "rectangular pattern". this function allows you have a pattern in the shape, depending if its circular or rectangular.

Here, we used a function called "Chamfer". It makes (in my case) the corners sharp.

This function is called "Fillet" its kinda like chamfer but instead of making the corners or any part of the object sharp, it makes it curve.

"Loft". This function allow the inventor is make a surface by blending two or more shapes together.

this function is "mirror". it allows the inventor to make a replica of the shape.

Cube

In this assignment, we had to give the description and visual view of the cube and what pieces are in it.
Here is the finished cube. This shows all the five pieces that are in the puzzle cube. Along with the company and designers name. Also showing the pieces description.
as you can see four of the pieces are orange because they use the same number of cubes.

this image will give you a better understanding of what is in the complete puzzle cube.
